About me
Do you ever feel so tangled up with anxiety, depression, anger or shame that it just starts to feel like “who you are”? I’ve found myself here too. Our lived experience can shape not only our belief system but also our nervous system. If our environments growing up– homes, schools or communities– were not able to meet our universal need for safety, love, nurture and belonging, we may find ourselves believing we are lacking in some way, that it’s unsafe to trust others, or a myriad of beliefs that keep us feeling stuck, disconnected, and emotionally dysregulated. This isn’t your fault and it doesn’t have to be this way forever.
I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem & PTSD using trauma-informed therapy approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps the brain effectively digest traumatic memories and alleviate distress, and Internal Family Systems which brings unconditional compassion to all parts of you.
