About me
I am an associate professional counselor with over 1000 hours of clinical practice and a dedication to helping children, adults, and couples acccess their inner strengths and effect change in their personal lives.
I value being of service to others - a passion that stems from my commitment to empowering motivated individuals to develop healthy coping skills, express their needs, and resolve issues to achieve happiness and self-actualization. In my commitment to becoming a licensed counselor, I have a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master’s Degree in counseling. I use an integrated therapeutic approach incorporating existential, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused theories and have training in mood-related disorders, relationship issues, family dysfunction, multicultural issues, and trauma. By combining my education and experience, I have acquired the knowledge to improve my clients’ outcomes and gained valuable skills to succeed, including a proven ability to connect easily with people. Seeing others in a better place emotionally, mentally, and physically gives me great satisfaction.
