About me

I am a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Associate Counselor and Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping couples and families thrive in healthy relationships and helping individuals cope with trauma, grief related to medical diagnosis, anxiety and mood disorders.

Do you feel as if your life has a “before” and “after?” Do you feel stuck, like you can’t shake what has happened to you or your relationships? I would love the opportunity to help you make sense of your story and build your inner resources to move forward.

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from John Brown University with degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. I have experience working with teenagers, adults, and couples with trauma, relationship issues, grief due to medical diagnosis, and anxiety and mood disorders. I am Latina and can provide sessions in both Spanish and English – I want you to share your story in the language you feel understood in. In order to best help you walk through your journey I like to incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy to make sure I am following your lead on what you need. I have also completed level 1 training of Gottman method couples’ therapy to provide you and your partner with research-based interventions to help your relationship.

My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment as you, you and your partner, or you and your family choose your new story and new path forward. I look forward to the privilege of working with you.
