About me
I am a clinical social worker with ample experience with adolescents, especially in the school environment, and more recently adults/couples as well. Mood disorders, depression, anxiety, learning issues, and Autism Spectrum are some areas of specialty with treatment modalities based in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is inspired that you have begun the search to find support for yourself or loved one, as seeking therapy is a vulnerable step. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois–Chicago Jane Addams. I have spent several years as a school social worker in a therapeutic elementary school prior to working as a high school social worker in a western suburb for the last 15 giving me ample experience with children, adolescents, and families from a variety of demographics.
I firmly believe in meeting my clients where they are at by creating a safe space to be either in person or virtually. We can sit, walk, dance and be creative with what works best for you!
Just reading this is an amazing first step. Please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or to have any questions answered.
