Melanie Schwindt, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Belton, TX
Online & In-Person
About me
I am currently certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder clinical specialist, and I am working on certifying in ADHD. In addition to neuro divergence, I also have experience with mood disorders, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. I am an LGBTQ++ affirmative counselor.
I graduated with my masters in 2019 and did my internship at Cedar Crest Hospital running the adult unit. I specialized in school in child and adolescents, specifically neuro divergence and human sexuality. I enjoy utilizing a very eclectic approach to include person centered/positive psychology, and meta cognition. However, I insist each session is client led based on what needs are. The therapeutic relationship should be a collaboration.
