Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
This therapist holds one or more specialty certifications, you can review their certification within the professional certifications section on their profile.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Hi there! I'm a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) in private practice who provides telehealth services throughout New Mexico, as well as coaching and therapeutic yoga instruction worldwide. As a wife and mom to teenagers, I know how incredibly difficult the last few years have been on top of everyday life stressors. I help my clients tap into their innate health, resilience, and ability to create positive change in their lives.
I know from personal experience what it feels like to have anxiety, depression, grief, fear, and/or trauma rule your life. To feel like nothing will ever get better and that there is no hope. But fortunately, I came through to the other side of this and am constantly studying the latest strategies and techniques to help you live your most inspired and peaceful life. Working in partnership, we will look at what's working and what's not to uncover the things that can help you make the most rapid and long-lasting changes to your body, mind, and relationships.
I will teach you how to understand your body and mind so that you can get off the emotional rollercoaster. You'll learn why you feel the way you do and how simple practices can free you from the grip of anxiety, stress, panic, PTSD, and/or depression.
I'm trained as a Connected Parenting therapist/coach, Safe and Sound Protocol and Focus System facilitator, EMDR facilitator, and Overcome Anxiety Clinical Facilitator. I'm currently completing training to become a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
If you've tried talk therapy before and didn't get the results you wanted, or maybe you've never tried therapy before and aren't sure if it can help you, I invite you to consider that research in the western world is finally catching up to what eastern traditions have known for millennia- that working with trauma or stress in the body is a key component to healing. However, for those who have experienced trauma, the body can feel like an unsafe place or unchartered territory. Rest assured that this work is not something I take lightly and that creating an environment of trust and safety is paramount in the therapeutic alliance. I never rush clients into anything they aren't ready for and we will work together to establish your physical and emotional comfort before all else.
