About me
Counseling is a journey where you and I, side by side, can navigate your struggles and joys. You have lived an entire life before joining me in counseling which is why I will view you holistically and especially consider your cultural background and spiritual identity, among other significant factors. As a counselor, I desire to provide a safe place for you to express yourself, reach your potential, and connect with yourself and others. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who received a Certificate of Graduate Study in Trauma Informed Counseling, am a Certified Trauma Professional and I hold my National Counselor Certification.
My areas of specialty include: PTSD, relationship work, anxiety, and life transitions. I offer consistent afternoon and evening availability and am paneled with four widely used insurance companies as I believe in the importance of being present as a therapist and removing as many obstacles as possible to make room for therapy.
Overall, I provide client-centered care. You deserve to be seen in your pain and joy, to have your growth be witnessed, and to have support from someone who understands the complex nature of being human. The counseling space is sacred, and I would consider it a privilege to join you on your journey.
