Mary McGrath, LISW
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced therapist with a strong background helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I am a licensed mental health therapist with a lot of experience working with adolescents and adults. If you or your child is experiencing social and emotional difficulties, or life is feeling challenging, or "not quite right", I invite you to contact me to decide if therapy would make sense for you at this moment. I have specialized training in the areas of play therapy and trauma therapy, and use a variety of interventions, including expressive arts and EMDR, to help tap into unexplored issues and strengths.
I take an individualized, strengths-based approach to find practical solutions that work for each one of my clients. I work to increase emotional intelligence and build a "toolbox" of coping skills to help better navigate life's challenges.
In particular, I have witnessed the power of EMDR to help overcome traumas and develop a more adaptive and empowered sense of self.
Above all, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool to help unearth strengths and rediscover potentials. I invite you to call or email me to begin this journey for either you or a loved one.
