About me
People seek therapy for a variety of reasons, with the underlying desire to alleviate emotional pain, increase well being and vitality, and gain a better understanding of themselves. The most common sources of pain stem from relationship issues, unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns and a history of unresolved trauma.
In my work, I take an active approach in assisting individuals with improving the quality of their lives by fostering and promoting curiosity, compassion, emotional growth and empowerment, as well as healthy relationships and self-esteem.
Whatever your reasons for coming to therapy, it is my goal to support you in your process.
I feel privileged to be part of my clients’ journey toward healing and recovery and to witness their strength and resiliency.
I have worked with adults and teens in community mental health and private practice for 13 years. I utilize an eclectic treatment approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and interpersonal therapy. I’m also certified in EMDR , an approach I use to treat trauma.
I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from UCLA.
