I'm Malton Cook, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas. Since 2011, I've been dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving greater well-being. My journey began with a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, followed by a master's degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

My experience spans various mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, residential dual diagnosis programs, and most recently, integrated behavioral health.

I believe in a collaborative approach, drawing on both person-centered and solution-focused therapy. You are the expert of your life, and I'm here to guide you in exploring new perspectives and strategies to enhance your personal satisfaction.

Additionally, I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These tools help you identify and adjust unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, leading to improved symptom management.
