About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor resident who is dedicated to working with adolescents and adults work through anxiety, depression, body image concerns, disordered eating, and more.

Do you criticize yourself every time you look in the mirror? Find yourself overthinking everything? Do you rely on unhelpful coping skills, and perhaps feel stuck? Imagine if you didn’t have to feel this way anymore. As a therapist, I am here to help you develop insight into your behaviors and how they serve you. Together, we can work through “the whys” and help you shift the way you think and act.

I strive to create a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. I pull from person-centered and psychodynamic theories, CBT, and DBT in my work, but always work to collaborate with clients and tailor our sessions toward your individual needs.

After recovering from an eating disorder myself, I have a unique understanding and empathy when it comes to working with disordered eating, body-image, and self-esteem issues. I’ve worked with teens and young adults in individual and group settings. I am a HAES-aligned clinician, meaning that I believe that your personal well-being is more important than a number on a scale or a label on your clothing. In addition to eating disorders, I am passionate about working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-injury, gender and sexuality, and life transitions.

Whether you are just beginning your therapy journey or are looking for a fresh start with a new clinician, I would consider it a privilege to work with you.
