About me
I am an experienced counselor. I work with a variety of individuals (all ages), couples, families, etc. I have developed an effective approach. I like helping people.
Each person is different. I provide individualized and flexible counseling services to meet your needs. For the past 20 years, I have worked with an array of people, individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings, both clinical and community based. My vast experience has helped me develop an effective system to help improve person’s lives. I am mostly a non-directive, “person centered” humanistic therapist. I do not “tell” anyone how they should live their life. I listen carefully and work with you to generate ideas and solutions to enhance your life. I may suggest and encourage you to try things and to take action and find strategies that work for you. I am also a “goal oriented” counselor and like assisting persons with life planning and goal setting. It is exciting to help others capture a vision for their life and to discover a mission and purpose. I enjoy and encourage people to take action and celebrate progress and achieve goals they set for themselves. I have specialized and worked with at-risk youth, teenagers, and people with other disabilities. I also work with adults, couples, and families. I am an effective, well rounded, individual, marriage, and family counselor. I like helping people. I look forward to meeting with you.
