About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps those who want to heal from trauma including complex PTSD.
Healing from a traumatic event or a history of childhood abuse brings a sense of peace and allows us to feel joy in our lives. I enjoy working with clients who want to move past events that keep them stuck so that they can grow. I have offices in St. Francisville and New Orleans and take most commercial insurances.
I believe the brain-body connection allows us to manage symptoms such as anxiety and depression in ways that don’t always include talking. In this way, I am different from other therapists. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a tool that I use, so clients don’t have to commit to months of sessions of weekly discussions to get the change that they need.
My clients are busy people who are working hard to manage the demands of their own life while using therapy as a tool to improve how they feel and interact with the world around them. We will work together to reach specific and timely goals such as healing from an unexpected loss or resolving an issue from your past that continues to affects you today.
