About me
I am an experienced LMFT who is dedicated assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, life changes and goal attainment
I know what it's like being scared to seek help. I know that asking for help can sometimes feel like things are failing and I caused them. I also know how nervous I felt when I looked for assistance and wanting to begin therapy, scared with questions like, will I be judged? Will they keep my confidence? Can I trust them? I knew that when seeking therapy and looking for help all I wanted was for things to be better, get better, live healthier and be accepted. Therapy is scary, it can bring up issues that may be more frightening than you would like to cope with. Therapy is also helpful, healthy and the best part is, you're not alone.
I have numerous years of skill working with individuals wanting to accomplish goals. Tracking the goals. Finding and praising small, incremental gains along the way. I have been effectively working with individuals through motivational interviewing, CBT and DBT. I have experience in co-occurring substance and mental health along with family/couple therapy.
If you are wanting to accomplish goals, seeking independence from previous demons that ran your life and have freedom in decisions. If you are more anxious of staying the same, doing the same and thinking the same than you are of change- I can help, I want to help. Trust is earned. I want to help you find freedom and earn your trust. Let me help you.
