Lindsey Blades, LCSW-C

I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families overcome obstacles and reach their goals. I believe that each client has the ability to learn and grow when given the right tools to manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief or heal from past trauma. I enjoy working with couples and families helping them to move forward together in a healthy, productive way. I believe that therapy tools and techniques should be practical and not complicated. Life can be hard but finding the right therapist can help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in the field and a passion for helping my clients overcome obstacles to achieve wellness and find joy again. I received my Bachelor of Social Work with a focus in mental health in 2006 and a Master of Social Work with a clinical aging focus in 2008. I gained my LCSW-C in 2011 and continued my education and training throughout my career. Additional certifications include CCTP Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, CSWHC Certified Social Worker in Health Care, CGP Certified Grief Informed Professional and Board Approved Supervisor. In addition to my years of training I bring experience from my time spent working at the Veterans Health Administration. At the VA I gained experience in a variety of settings allowing me to evolve as a well-rounded clinician.

I provide a private, welcoming environment for people to express themselves and share their obstacles and goals. I believe the client should be in control of their mental health care. I believe every client should be treated with respect and given the opportunity to live the life they choose. I believe in my clients.
