I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri who is dedicated to helping couples and individuals cope with life's challenges.

My name is Lindsay Powelson (she/her), MA, LPC. I graduated from Lindenwood University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2004. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri since 2006. I have worked in the mental health field for over 17 years.

My expertise is related to working with individuals, couples and families that experience hardships such as child protective services, family court, school based challenges, adoption and foster care, long term care, fertility, PCOS, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ as well as symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and disordered eating. I specialize in working with all ages, as well as couples and families; in all of the ways they are formed.

My therapeutic lens is person centered and action oriented. I am a collaborative and goal focused clinician who understands you are the expertise of your life. I will assist and objectively guide you through interpersonal changes. I believe in love, acceptance, equality, kindness, respect and the power of finding your authentic self.
