Lindsay Beers, LMHC, NCC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor who specializes in the treatment of children and families regarding their mental health and wellbeing. My experience working in this field has allowed me the ability to help families support one another to create a healthy family dynamic. I also provide services for individuals seeking treatment for mental health issues, relationship issues, and those wanting to live a healthier life.

I attended and started my career at Emory University where I worked as a research intern in the Infant and Child Lab under Dr. Philippe Rochat. There I gained my love for working with children and understanding their development. I continued my education by receiving my Master’s in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Post grad school work included working in crisis response, clinics, foster care, and the school system. I have also worked extensively with adults to increase healthy living and decrease stress and anxiety. Currently, I am working in a Psy. D program in School Psychology to increase my skillset.

Lindsay prides herself on helping people create healthy lives, both mentally and physically, by meeting individuals where they are at and creating a safe place for individuals to be themselves.
