Leslie Miller, LICSW

I am a trauma informed therapist who works with clients who have experienced relational trauma in childhood or in an intimate partner relationship. I specialize in working with adult children of narcissistic parents. The experience of childhood abandonment, neglect or abuse may contribute to anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. We will work collboratively in a mind-body approach utlizing talk-therapy, guided imagery, meditation and EMDR. Working through past programming and learning to re-parent your adult self to regulate emotions and live free from negative programming from the past.

I am a graduate of Niagara University and Fordham University in New York, obtaining my MSW in 1998. I have worked as a clinician in private practice since 2008 and as a custody evaluator (Guardian ad Litem) from 2013-2019. I have witnessed firsthand how unresolved conflict and continued engagement in toxic relationships can impact the mental-health and well-being of parents and children.

I have extensive training in a mind-body approach to physical and mental health. For clients seeking anxiety reduction, wellness and healing from narcissistic abuse I like to incorporate mind-body interventions into our work together. I teach Classical Pilates for the sheer joy of moving, breathing and feeling more aligned and alive. I am certified in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Yoga for Anxiety.
