About me
I am an experienced therapist dedicated to helping adults and teens who have experienced trauma or experiencing depression and anxiety.
I specialize in the treatment of all types of trauma and Post-traumatic stress disorder. I also specialize in issues of depression and anxiety. I believe that since every human being is unique, responses to human experiences are also unique. Loss and trauma or issues of depression and anxiety may be negatively affecting your emotional, mental, physical and relationship health.
I am eclectic in my approach and so we will use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psycho-education and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), guided by what will work most effectively for you.
Together we will mutually develop goals for therapy and work in a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere. Our work together will honor who you are as a human being and your responses to your experiences that have led you to seek help.
