Trauma comes in many guises and underlies a variety of mental health disorders. Anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder can all have roots in disturbing events. Be they large "T" or small "t", trauma is unique to you and deserves attention and care. I would be honored to work with you in processing your past that is informing your future.

Therapy is an investment in yourself. We all have a past that influences how we perceive our present and shapes our future. Whether you have previously engaged in therapy or this is your first venture, whether you are looking for a long term relationship or brief intervention, your choice of therapist is crucial to the success of this investment.

My approach to therapy is multi-faceted. First and foremost, I strive to hear and see my patients, for them to have a sense of being "felt" and understood. With this basis in mind, we will collaborate on how to best move forward, balancing patient preference with clinical indications. Having been trained and certified in a wide array of interventions, protocols and models, we have a multitude of ways to move towards optimal mental and emotional health. We will engage together on crafting a treatment plan and will revisit and "course correct" as needed. I believe that as a provider I am accountable to my patients and their progress in therapy.

Be it new techniques in applying EMDR or understanding the latest neuropsychological findings on anxiety and depression, I continually engage in learning to make my knowledge base and skills the best they can be on behalf of my patients. I will often share articles and books with patients, encouraging them to participate fully in their recovery and become strong advocates for their own mental health. I am

I maintain multiple licenses to practice psychology across the United States. For this reason, all appointments are conducted via a telehealth platform. I will verify your location and time zone with you prior to booking your first appointment. For many patients, the telehealth platform is familiar, for others it may seem daunting. There are several benefits to telehealth at this time in our culture, the lease of which may be reduced travel costs and safety concerns.
