My approach is relational and person-centered, meeting each individual where they are to listen, connect, and guide while helping you overcome challenges and reach your goals. I provide a safe, caring, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. Together we will work to develop positive, healthy relationships with self and others and feel satisfied in your life.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (CSW) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). I earned my Master of Social Work at the University of South Dakota and B.S. in Psychology at South Dakota State University. I have completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specialized training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Other training includes crisis, suicide, and self-harm support and interventions with children, adolescents, and adults; social work with Native American populations; behavior management, attachment, and trauma work with children and caregivers.

I have more than five years experience in social services working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and schools. My experience includes providing program assistance, social work, case management, and psychotherapy in schools, homes, foster care placements, and outpatient settings. Most recently I provided mental health counseling at a community health center to children, teens, and adults with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency issues.
