Lauren Gehman, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
New Orleans, LA
Online & In-Person
About me
I have called New Orleans home for over twenty years and enjoy practicing therapy in our wonderful city. I feel grateful to be part of a profession that places high value on respect, authenticity, and self-determination. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy, utilizing positive psychology concepts and theories.
After graduating from Tulane's School of Social Work, I spent several years working as an adolescent specialist at Jewish Family Service. Currently, along with a small private practice, I am a school counselor and an instructor with The Global Online Academy. Previously, I was an adjunct professor at Tulane School of Social Work. The primary focus of my therapy practice is working with adolescents, families, and adults.
