Hello and thank you for taking time to stop by my page. I am a licensed psychotherapist with 12 years of clinical experience. I am a Certified Advanced Grief Counselor and Certified Complex Trauma Treatment Level II Professional. I have training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual & Couples Therapy, and Healing Arts (using creative expression to process thoughts and feelings when words don't seem to be enough). I am currently working toward certification as a Gottman Certified Counselor (used in couples counseling).
I believe grief is a life practice; grief is not only present when a loved one dies, but also when we face life transitions such as moving, losing a job, letting go of a dream, divorce/separation, or losing our sense of self. If you have lost something that is important to you, then you are likely experiencing grief. I am passionate about my role of companion to those who find themselves in the "messy middle" - the space between what was and what is to come. My job is to create a safe space for you to tell your story without judgement or shame, and to be a compassionate and supportive presence to you as you navigate your way to a life where you can heal and thrive.
