LaLisa Morgan, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is not only a social worker, but an Christian counselor, Trauma Expert, Empowerment Advocate, Healer, Community Activist, Trainer, Therapist, Mentor, Coach and Ally with over 28 years of social work experiences serving the community. LaLisa founded Generations 1865: Counseling, Consulting and Coaching to empower people to ignite their dreams, unleash their potential and fulfill their purpose by becoming the “best version of yourself” as they heal from trauma, life limiting beliefs, and deeply rooted family/social barriers and develop their individual identity to build professional (career) identity, social connections (community) and improve relationships their family and friends (connections) that impact generations to come with healthy families and strong communities. Through her company, she provides psychotherapy (counseling), consulting, and life coaching, digital content publishing, online courses and seminars that act as a catalyst for personal empowerment.
LaLisa is an alumnus of California State University, Dominquez Hills & California State University at Los Angeles, where she completed her formal education earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Administration, a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management. She is also a Certified Christian Life Coach to help build the family of faith as a follower of Jesus Christ. Using the science of social work and psychology and human potential, she provides counseling and education to leading edge entrepreneurs, celebrities, leaders, life coaches, and individuals how to master the power of their mind and create their destiny and live your life purpose to be a change-agent and strengthen and build the community. She currently operates her counseling business in Los Angeles and serves the state as a licensed therapist and provides coaching services worldwide.
LaLisa has also collaborated with other authors which such books as Entrepreneurial Women of Faith: Sharing the Scriptures We Use to Keep Us Anchored to, Focused On, and Motivated in Our Businesses (Book 1) and Mothers, Daughters, and Faith (Book 2) as well as Silent No More: Anthology. LaLisa released her own book entitled, Surviving the Chaos: A Journey to Healing and Legacy Living and the companion workbook (releasing Fall 2022).
