I have experience in relationship and self-esteem issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma, to name just a few. I offer individual, family, and couples counseling and I’m committed to assisting each client with identifying their needs, goals, innate gifts, and strengths. My goal is for my clients to experience the peace and success in their lives that they deserve. Hi, I'm Kym: Counselor, Published Author, Wife, Mother of 3, and a daughter of military parents. These are just a few ways I describe myself, but all have contributed to me meeting people exactly where they are and understanding that different people have different life experiences and deserve acceptance without judgment or the preconceived notions of others.
More importantly, I love God and people. I believe that God called me into the counseling profession to help others and as such, I’ve dedicated myself to advocating for mental health awareness, particularly in communities of color. Having worked in diverse communities, particularly with teens, women, and families, I’m immensely aware of the issues we face that can be, and are many times, unique and sensitive.
