About me
Kyle enjoys working with clients to better understand themselves while improving their communication and relationships. They work with couples, teens and adults through life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, and identity and relational struggles. Kyle offers a warm, accepting, and flexible approach to therapy and believes communication is key. Kyle also specializes in working with LGBTQ + individuals, teens, couples, and families. They understand the complexities that come with gender and sexual identity.
Kyle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. They obtained their master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University with a focus on LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy in conjunction with Multi-Ethnic Theoretical Approaches. During their time in school Kyle studied abroad in South Africa learning more worldly approaches to therapy. They received training at Southern California Counseling Center. Kyle is currently working at Beach Cities Psychotherapy under the supervision of Whitney Boole, MA, LMFT (License # 93107) as well as providing treatment to teens struggling with mental health at Star View Adolescent Treatment Center.
Kyle is a queer pansexual gender-expansive person who is in a same-sex mixed race marriage. Kyle responds to They/Them/Their pronouns. They are originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where they obtained their bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in musical theatre. Kyle was a former gymnast and national competitive cheerleader. They enjoy the outdoors, movies, shopping, and social gatherings.
