Clients describe me as relatable, fun, easy going and creative. My approach is eclectic, energetic, humorous, empowering and solution focused.
It's heartbreaking how many new clients come to me and say: "This is the last time I try therapy", "It just wasn't for me", "I didn't click with my previous therapist". Adulting, and life in general, is hard enough as it is, finding a therapist shouldn't add to that stress! Therapy should be an enjoyable process that provides a safe space to be yourself, wear comfy pants and eat snacks! I am 100% tele-health, so all of my session's are currently through video chat.
I provide services to a wide range of ages and disorders in the state of Ohio. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Toledo. I have experience in both private practice and community mental health settings, with a focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. I like to meet my clients where they are at developmentally, emotionally and with interests. That's why I utilize a variety of visuals, interactive activities, crafts and video games to keep my client's comfortable and engaged while discussing hard things. I always let my clients decide what we are going to do during the session, because this session is all about the client! I then cater their selection to meet their specific needs and treatment plan in the moment.
