I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in North Carolina providing mental health therapy to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms.

My focus is helping people who experience unwanted and unmanaged symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, guilt, shame, grief, and substance use and addiction that may be leading to overall life dissatisfaction. Some examples of how these symptoms might show up in your life include panic attacks, feeling unable to get out of bed or complete tasks, feeling disconnected or uninterested, not feeling like yourself, having nightmares or flashbacks, or having suicidal thoughts. Each week, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can be exactly who you are - leaving any shame or embarrassment at the door. You’ll have the space to talk about whatever it is you’re ready to bring to light or explore. My clients often say that I provide a balance of unconditional support while also challenging them when needed, which reflects my overall approach. Our lives are often a balance of accepting things we cannot change and working to identify and change things we can. We’ll work together to explore what that looks like for you, while learning new skills and creating a life you want.
