About me

Hello! It has been quite a journey as mental health counselor. I have worked in several different areas of mental health and learned so much about a variety of people. I truly enjoy what I do! My experiences have ranged from partial-hospitalization programs, community mental health, integrated wellness, group practice to my own private practice. Working in these multiple levels of care has taught me a great deal about treatment and how to work with a variety of mental health disorders. I have received additional training though Drexel and completed their trauma course. I have also attended the Beck Institute and have received certifications for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for medical problems and veteran populations.

With my extensive coaching experience and the continuing education i continued to receive, I have specialized working with student athletes. I have worked with a broad range of sports ranging form high school athletes, Division 1 college athletes. I also enjoy working with people in my community and providing general practice work to teens to adults. I currently also coach our local high school swim team and coach age group triathletes from around the country.

ICC is located in Orwigsburg, Pa. Our office is nestled within several like-minded organizations offering integrative medicine, yoga, massage therapy and even a health food store! Many clients love the benefit and utilize the services of the other businesses and enjoy that they are all grouped together in one area!

ICC offers a quiet, private and comfortable setting. Everyone is treated as an individual and we work together to achieve the goals you want to achieve. I believe being someone's therapist is a privilege and an honor. Sessions are offered in person or online. Clients my choose to participated in walk and talk sessions which are not covered by insurance. Most sessions are 60 minutes long with option of in person or from the comfort of your own home. We decide together how often we meet and what we work on. I use a variety of approaches and client's can expect to learn a variety of coping skills with some humor and movie quotes sprinkled in each session! My hope is to make therapy a rewarding experience for everyone I work with.
