I have more than 15 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My extensive and varied professional clinical experience in Private Practice, community mental health centers, Aurora Mental Health Center and Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network in Littleton, and other agencies has shown me the resilience that many people have and their ability to develop new skills for creating more emotional satisfaction in their lives. Our collaborative work will help you to develop your strengths and resources to find solutions that will have lasting importance for you. For each of my Clients I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to their individual needs in order to help them attain the personal growth they’re striving to reach.

I would like to assist you if you are feeling depressed, anxious, distressed in relationships, dealing with trauma, PTSD, grief, loss or life transitions. My style is collaborative and strength-based focusing on personal accomplishments and action plans to make measurable progress on therapy goals. I make use of person-centered, cognitive, and brief solution-focused therapy to identify causes contributing to problems in emotions, behaviors, and relationships along with solutions to advance each Client’s “work in progress.” This approach helps clients find answers to their most concerning personal issues. I, also, make use of Client feedback which helps me to track the progress they have made in meeting their therapy goals and serves as a guide in making timely changes. Research shows this process empowers people and enables them to be more engaged in therapy and to develop their own understanding and solutions to problems in fewer sessions.
