About me
Hello! My name is Kayla and utilize EMDR and found that this modality of therapy can be very impactful to all areas of mental health needs. I am currently taking on couples and individuals. I am passionate about working with First Responders/COs/Military folks because I not only have personal ties with this population, but I care about helping build resiliency with EMDR for their careers and communicating better with their families/partners.
My specialty is marriage and couples counseling as well as First Responders. The type of therapy I use (EMDR) provides a safe place for each person to be vulnerable, and vulnerability is key to healthy communication and processing emotions.
It is important for me to build great relationships with my clients and make them feel secure when discussing difficult things. I want my clients to feel that they can be open and transparent with me, as well as being unapologetically themselves. I am excited to meet with you and look forward to supporting you in your journey.
