About me
I help adult Women of Color who are struggling with overwhelming societal pressure and adversity. Using my own experience as a woman of color, and my training at the intersection between race and sex, I create a safe space for these women discuss their experience and receive the support they need to create meaning and find resilience. Through our work together, my clients feel safe and seen, which allows them to move confidently through the world and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializes in using a blend of Narrative and Somatic Experiencing. Narrative Therapy is a therapy modality that helps people to create meaning from their own story and facilitates the unpacking of problem stories. Somatic Experiencing which is a body oriented therapeutic model for healing trauma and other stress disorders.
