Karen is a relational therapist working with individuals, couples and groups. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Karen is committed to helping clients develop new skills to support a recovery process fostering a spirit of hope and healing for both recovering addicts and betrayed partners. As a trauma therapist, Karen is trained in several modalities bringing forth skills as an EMDR (EMDRIA Approved) trained therapist from the Parnell Institute, and is a somatic practitioner, utilizing Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) as a level 2 practitioner. Karen also utilizes experiential models including Pia Mellody’s Family of Origin and Inner Child work as a Post Induction Therapist (PIT). Karen works from an attachment lens and a client-centric approach that empowers clients’ individuality and unique strengths.
