About me
I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to working with adolescents, and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I am a veteran who has over 24 years of clinical experience, working with children and adults. I have worked with children in treatment centers and foster care. I have worked with adults experiencing a wide range of challenges, to include anxiety, depression, and trauma. I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients. I believe a therapist should meet a client where they are at in life, and "walk" beside them in their journey! I can offer a none-judgmental setting where clients can feel safe to discuss any challenges they may be facing.
My diverse background and skills offered me the opportunity to work with victims of trauma, to include trafficking victims and others forms of severe abuse. I worked in an institutional setting, providing care, as well as supervising other mental health care providers. I offer a strength-based approach in therapy.
There are a lot of people who are struggling and do not know who to turn to. I do not see people as a diagnosis, or a label. I believe my path in life is to help people be the best that they can be!
