As an integrated medicine provider, she provides a holistic approach to treatment, by utilizing the food mood connection. She educates clients to achieve their highest potential by promoting social, emotional, and cognitive wellness. With a background in Pastoral Counseling, Dr. Andrews utilizes spirituality, and(or) a Christian based approach, if clients seek Christian values in their treatment.
While providing treatment for families during her time working for a variety of non-profit community-based programs, she became committed to family, school, and community engagement. Among her many therapeutic modalities, she utilizes meditation and positive psychology to encourage wellness practices based on creating balance and limiting stress. She also facilitates the development of positive mental health and well-being to assist clients in recognizing their full potential for change and growth.
Dr. Andrews educational background includes a Doctor of Education degree from Johnson and Wales University; an EBD in the PhD clinical counseling program from Capella University. She is a graduate of Providence College, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling and Guidance Counseling. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rhode Island College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology; she attended The University of Steubenville, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology.
She is an active member of the Association of Rhode Island Authors, and the National Book Association + National Authors Association.
Among philanthropic initiatives, Dr. Andrews is the president of the non profit organization, Jennie’s Legacy of Love, which she created along with her siblings. She is also the founder of the nonprofit Miracle Books, Inc.
