About me
Sometimes life transitions, stressors, trauma, or grief can feel overwhelming. No matter how hard you may be trying to work things out on your own, it may feel like you are not gaining ground. Change and healing don't happen in isolation, and we all need help at some point. Having a caring professional walk with you through challenging times can be incredibly helpful.
Together, we would work to enhance your innate abilities with compassion, mindfulness approaches, creativity, and curiosity. My goal is to help you find healing in a warm and accepting environment. I believe that there is meaning in our struggles and that processing our experiences with bravery and authenticity is the best way to create the growth we seek.
I have 15+ years of experience working with clients through life transitions and challenges and helping them establish goals and create change. In my therapeutic work, I use research-supported approaches to transform painful emotions, physical sensations, and limiting beliefs resulting from painful experiences into more adaptive living. Additionally, I am EMDR and Gottman Method Couples Therapy trained.
I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
