About me
I have experience working with individuals and families affected by interpersonal trauma, and am familiar with the systems that serve children that have experienced abuse.
Life transitions, unexpected changes, and traumatic events can impact our sense of self: what we believe about who we are, how we show up in the world, and how we interact with others. As a therapist, my goal is to provide an empowering, nurturing environment in which to discover a path towards healing, growth, and a more authentic connection with one’s self and others, particularly following traumatic events.
If you are looking to re-discover and/or reclaim agency and a sense of ease in your body and in your relationships, particularly following a traumatic event, please consider allowing me to accompany you on that journey as your therapist. I strive to be affirming of the experiences of clients in the LGBTQ community, as well as other culturally marginalized and/or oppressed communities, and strive to meet clients where they are in a non-judgemental, affirmative, and empowering environment.
