About me
I am a PhD level counselor licensed in Tennessee with sixteen years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, trauma, and addiction related issues.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe we are all worthy of being treated with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is tailored to the individual, but I have found a lot of benefit in blending cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and mindfulness-based counseling approaches. At this time, I am accepting message only clients, via the 24-hour message board. As we work together, I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes a lot of courage just to make that first contact for help. I am here to empower you and be with you each step of the way as we face life’s challenges together.
I look forward to working with you!
