Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
I believe people are doing the best they can do with what they know. I want to offer you a “safe space” to be vulnerable. Sometimes we just need to talk with someone who doesn’t have an opinion but offers support and encouragement along the way. I offer interactive solution-focused, strengths-based therapy tools. Not every person that comes to therapy wants to be diagnosed with something. There are many reasons someone comes into the therapy process. I can teach you coping skills to help get you out of your head and on with your life. Every person is different so there is no set way of working through your concerns. We can collaborate and work through what is holding you back from being who you want to be. I look forward to working with you on this process!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Washington and Oregon. I believe everyone is doing the best they can with what they know. I am here to help increase your knowledge of strategies to get where you want to be. I use strengths-based Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to address what is happening in your world. I believe you are the expert in your life (even though you may not feel that way!). I will use my expertise in guiding you in this process. I have worked with people and families that are challenged by anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, divorce, and life-changing situations. Once we have clarity of what is challenging you, we can create manageable goals to work towards to help you get the desired outcome you deserve. I look forward to working with you!
