About me
I am an experienced therapist and trauma practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals learn to overcome and work through their obstacles and take control of life. I treat a wide variety of emotional difficulties and situations and tend to prefer the aspects many would consider taboo or uncomfortable.
Have you ever met someone that you felt you could talk to about just about anything? Or didn't have to worry about being judged, uncomfortable, or uncertain? I am that person, and I hope to be that person for you. I am intrigued by and curious to learn about the lives people have lived and what has molded them and shaped them. I believe in a holistic approach to identifying problem areas, understanding how the mind and body are connected in storing trauma, emotions, patterns of familial influence, and figuring out how to break out of cycles that limit people from living a full life.
I have experience working primarily with those who are justice-impacted and court-ordered, including pre-trial assessment for defense attorneys. I also specialize in understanding and managing sexual behavior problems, relationships, depression and self-defeating thoughts, gender and/or sexual identity issues, impacts of incarceration, and trauma.
I strongly believe everyone needs someone in their corner. My own experiences and a wide range of work experiences and different types of clientele have shaped me into a very empathic and open person who is very interested in hearing your story. I hope you find someone to have your back and talk it out.
