About me
I specialize in issues related to adoption, foster care and grief. As an adoptive and foster mom myself, I am uniquely equipped to help families navigate relational transitions. Also, to me, grief is sacred space, and I consider it a privilege to hold space for my clients who are wrestling with loss.
Are you struggling through a family or life transition? Are you feeling weighed down by loss or grief? Even in the darkest moments, there is still hope. I have a passion for supporting people in difficult places. I have deep empathy for people who are stepping into new seasons and long to equip them with tools to find joy amidst uncertainty. I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults, especially those who have been affected by adoption and/or foster care.
As humans, we’re not meant to suffer alone. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of counseling to help individuals manage and prevail through difficult situations. Sometimes, grief and pain are not fixable, but they are workable. If you’re in the midst of a hard season, I would love to explore whether we’re a good fit and how I might be able to support you.
