I am an experienced mental health counselor who has spent the last 16 years helping kids, families, and adults with anger, depression, trauma, school issues, anxiety, self esteem, family conflict, emotional regulation, stress, etc....

I have spent years in community health before starting my own practice. I have a strong passion for helping people navigate change in their lives. I have expertise in Motivational Interviewing and I use this approach to help people decide if/what/when/how they might want to take on change. I believe people are the experts in their own lives and autonomy is extremely important. I can be counted upon to be a calm, supportive and patient listener as people consider change. I meet people where they are at and never push or pull them in a direction they do not want to go. Change is hard and I understand that this process takes time and there are lots of ups and downs. Acceptance, understanding, and partnership are all very important concepts that I bring to every interaction I have with clients. I believe that everyone is doing the best they can to cope with circumstances in their life and I am lucky to get to work with people seeking a new direction.
