Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing quality therapeutic and coaching services to teens and adults ready to embark on their healing and wellness journey.
I work with individuals ages 13 and older, couples, and families. My areas of specialty include mood disorders; traumatic stress disorders; stress management; Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder management, relationship conflict between partners/spouses, family, and friends; and child protection services (CPS)-related cases. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, neurobiological effects of trauma, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy, CBT, solution-focused brief therapy, and integrative therapy. I am dedicated to helping each person I work with on their healing and wellness journey, so they can live their best life.
In addition to psychotherapy, I also provide personal development coaching services for those who may not have a medical need for therapy but want to develop their self-awareness and better understand themselves and how the relate to the others. This is especially helpful for people who struggle with people-pleasing behaviors, perfectionism, interpersonal conflict, and self-image. If you are not sure if it is therapy or coaching that would be most beneficial, I can make a recommendation based on your overall assessment during the intake process.
As a culturally affirming and responsive practitioner, I am intentional to incorporate my clients’ cultural strengths. I respectfully seek to understand my clients’ cultural lenses from which they view the systems they operate in and presenting issues involved.
In both my therapeutic and coaching styles, I practice from a client-centered, strength-based, holistic approach. I incorporate multi-media psychoeducation and resources, productive feedback, and exercises on an ongoing basis. I believe you know where you want to go in your healing and wellness journey, and it is my privilege to help you get there.
