About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Saco, Maine with forty years of varied experience in both the professional world of counseling and in life in general! At this chapter of my life I am focussing on work with with folks in the later years of life. A stage in life with the potential for huge growth and understanding of what one has experienced....and the feelings generated by these experiences.
I have a very small part time practice and I'm paneled with many insurance companies including Medicare. I offer compassion, understanding, a spiritual bent, a wonderful sense of humor and appreciation for the absurd as we look back at what one has experienced and how one then looks to the future and healthy aging. I have experience with trauma focused treatment, family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, grief and loss.
