Specializing in Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety and Stress, Peak Performance brain training, diagnosis of ADHD and medication-free treatment. Counseling and so much more!
Our knowledge of how the brain and body function and communicate is increasing rapidly, and this is changing therapy in dramatic ways! Diagnosing and treating trauma is advanced training pursued by only a few and requires addressing physical reactions and discomfort. I am designated as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Over the years, I have seen how anxiety – which is fear – affects our bodies in the same manner and responds quite well to similar and innovative approaches. This includes working with our physical sensations as well as our cognitive thoughts. And in the areas of ADHD/ADD, diagnosis based on behaviors only is about 40% accurate. We can and should do much better than this! We offer more thorough assessment and medication-free treatment to reduce symptoms on a long-term basis. These same treatments are very effective for peak performance brain training for scholars and athletes as well.
Therapy sessions are by telehealth. Some sessions such as brain mapping and bio feedback training require in-person sessions. Our bio- and neurofeedback utilizes home units fully directed by your assigned technician.
