About me
I am licensed professional counselor who is dedicated to working for kids, adolescents, and adults of all ages with anxiety, depression, anger, personality disorders, maladaptive personality traits, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD and trauma reach their goals, their potentials, and/or get life back on track.
When I am not being a therapist, I am staying active outside or at the gym, I am spending time with my family and friends, or I am reading a good fantasy book to escape. I find myself to be outgoing a lot of the time. I like meet new people taking the time to get to know them. I take serious working for clients, and I try to look at it as me working for the client not the other way around. In my practice, I help client not only deal with the symptoms they are experience, but, also, I help the client to find what is going on underneath that creates the symptoms. I use a variety of techniques and theories, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Psychoanalytic Techniques to help clients. I help the client identify strengths they have that they can generalize to other areas of life in which they would like to grow.
