About me
I am a highly experienced, dedicated, and compassionate therapist with over two decades of experience. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and teenagers, as well as adults experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, social skills deficits, executive functioning issues, oppositional disorder, ADHD, divorce, grief, gender identity and a variety of other mental health concerns.
As a school social worker, I enjoy sharing my clinical experience with children ranging in age from preschool through high school as well as with young adults as they enter their journey through adulthood. I am committed to supporting teachers suffering from work-related stressors and adults navigating various life issues. I have hands-on training utilizing play therapy techniques and have a strong foundation in providing parent training and assisting parents with navigating the special education system. As a former maternal/child hospital social worker, one of my specialties includes the postpartum period and assisting parents through the emotional process of having an infant in the neonatal intensive care unit. My practice is LGBTQ+ friendly.
I am eager to support you as you make your way through the therapeutic process. There is no "magic wand" that makes stress drift away automatically and entering therapy may come with its own challenges. However, by working together I can support you in making positive changes.
