About me
HI! I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of direct clinical experience. I have been fortunate in the course of my career that I was able to work in a variety of settings. I have worked in case management, in intensive outpatient facilities (IOP), in partial hospitalization programs (PHP), in a hospital-based OB/GYN clinic, in agencies that provided services for people living with chronic or terminal medical conditions, and in private practice. All of these experiences provided me with the opportunities to become skilled in multiple specialties and in multiple therapeutic approaches. I have been a member of interdisciplinary treatment teams and have developed the skills needed to both coordinate care with other treatment providers and to integrate therapy into medical care. This has also given me experience with and an understanding of SSI, SSDI, and FMLA. I am certified to provide telemental health (BC-TMH) as well as being a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGIP). I attend multiple seminars yearly and take multiple on-line classes so that I can continue to provide skilled and qualified care for my clients. Thank you for visiting my webpage.
