Isabel Mulcahy, Professional Mental Health Counselor
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Let's shake things up & move at the dance studio or in nature to organize our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. We specialize in Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress, Anxiety/Depression, identity development & self-esteem issues. Our approach to counseling is humanistic, creative and culturally sensitive to our client's values and cultural beliefs.
We use a combination of Eco-Therapy, Jungian psychology, movement/somatic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, to help our clients re-experience themselves in a holistic and integrated way, so that their mind and body can co-create new personal realities and new relationships with body, mind and spirit/earth/nature. We can meet at Pineapple Dance studio in Forest Park or meet for trail walks at the Forest Preserve and connect our psyche to nature. We process our therapy in nature; if walking is a challenge, we can use hammocks and dog assisted therapy.
