INGRID BUCHAN, LICSW
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I’m passionate about work with the LGBTQIA2+ community and those struggling with ADHD/neurodivergent traits, difficulties with mood regulation, depression/anxiety, and those recovering from religious trauma.
I offer a mindfulness-based approach to therapy that focuses on mind, body, spirit and emotional awareness. I am warm, conversational and interested in your unique life experience. I help you explore the impact your past history has on your current relationships and everyday life. I am passionate about working with complex intimate and family relationships to help identify where you end and others begin.
As an embodied trauma therapist, my approach is rooted in somatic practices that address how trauma influences our nervous system and unconscious responses. The intention is to bring the unconscious response into the light and befriend all of the different parts of you.
My purpose in session is to hear you, help connect the dots of your life experience, and hold space for both your pain and your joy. I want to support you on the path toward meaning, balance and connectedness.
I know that our surroundings (institutional, communities, families/friends), and the political structures we live in, including systems of power and oppression, have a profound influence over our lives and choices. With this understanding I aim to chart a course through grief as well as find space for continued growth.
